The Body Fat Analyzer is a
special and quite different bathroom scale which uses Bioelectrical
Impedance analysis. With the help of the electrodes placed on the
scale, it sends a small harmless electric current through the body, so
small that you will not feel anything. When this flow passes through
fat, it meets a resistance which is called impedance. This
resistance is monitored with an algorithm to obtain the different desired
measurements (body fat, total body water, bone mass and muscle mass)
