Clinical Research
- 54 Women - Ages 35-72
With Revenir, Aging Is Optional
The California Skin Research
Institute conducted clinical studies on Revenir. Two independent
clinical studies were performed to determine the effectiveness
of electrolyzed ascorbic acid on facial lines and wrinkles and
faccial hyper-pigmentation of the skin. A total of 54 female
subjects at 35 to 72 years of age completed the 2 studies in
January 2002.
The clinical study for treatment
of hyper-pigmentation resulted in 89% of participants showing
a reduction in the appearance of discoloroation with an average
difference of 14%.
The participants who used Revenir
for 12 weeks showed an 80% improvement rate in the smoothing
of facial lines. They showed a 77% improvement rate in the number
of fine lines and wrinkles.
A clinical study for the treatment
of facial lines and wrinkles demonstrated a 20% improvement in
coarse lines around the crow's feet area resulting in more smooth
skin.
Self-assessment survey sheets
for the condition of subject's skin resulted in 67% of the subjects
rating the total evaluation of their skin to have improved.
A penetration study was also
conducted that confirmed penetration of the electrolyzed ascorbic
acid ( Vitamin C ) to the dermis level of the skin. |
