Clinical Trials
Eczema
In one Japaneses study, more than 22,000 patients with eczema
were treated externally with low pH water created by electrolysis,
as well as given alkaline water to drink. Researchers found tht
85% of patients improved within two to 18 months (depending on
severity of their condition and compliance), with no side effects.
Doctors were so pleased with the results that they have continued
to us this treatment modality in the clinic.
Acne
A second study from the February 2004 issue of Cosmetic Dermatology
tested the effects of Charme on 25 participants with acne. The
participants washed their entire face with Dove Soap, then used
Charme on one half of their face. After 8 weeks, participants
noticed a 41% reduction on the treated side, as compared to 18%
on the untreated side. Additionally, there was a 76% reduction
of blackheads and 42% reduction of whiteheads on the treated
side, as compared to just a 19% and 7% reduction, respectively,
on the untreated side
Overall, 80% of the participants
gave Charme good or excellent ratings, with 75% preferring Charme
to more traditional topical medications. During the study, only
20% of participants experienced side effects, includeing burning/stinging/and
or peeling, but all side effects went away by the second week.
