The fan forces heated air into the exterior pressurized chamber (not through the trays). Air is forced horizontally across each indiviual tray, converging on the core for fast, even and nutritious drying.

Because different foods require different temperature settings American Harvest dehydrators provide a flexible thermostat range to produce the best drying results.
